9:20- 10:20 am, Session 1: STate of the state | Honorable Laura Montoya, NM State Treasurer
The Honorable Laura Montoya, New Mexico State Treasurer, will discuss how New Mexico can leverage its unique assets, resources, and diversity to become a vibrant, equitable, and sustainable state for all its residents. The Treasurer will highlight the depth and breadth of the state's investment opportunities and showcase its contributions to emerging national movements. Additionally, the speaker will discuss strategies for growing and sustaining industries, ideas, and human capital that will benefit New Mexico's communities.

Collaboration with community enables impact investors to deploy capital in a way that is additive and inclusive rather than extractive of communities. This session will explore how collaboration across emerging industries in NM including the Green Economy, the Creative Economy, and Housing is fostering inclusion and ensuring these industries continue to fuel New Mexico’s economic future.

12:30–1:30 PM, Session 3: lift nm – BUILDING THE ECOSYSTEM & CHANGING THE FLOW OF CAPITAL THROUGH COLLABORATION | chris boppre, mindy gudmundson, rbc global asset management
RBC Global Asset Management provides an update on LIFT NM, a fixed income product that enables investors to direct capital to support local projects that align with their values. LIFT NM’s $36 million commitment to affordable housing and business loans in New Mexico is supported by NM SBIC, among other investors. RBC and SBIC will discuss how LIFT NM is helping to build the capital ecosystem across the state by highlighting their partnership with Momentus Securities.
1:30–2:30 PM, Session 4: transforming impact – reimagining investment partnerships with indigenous communities | Jaime Gloshay, Common future; nicole johnny, raven indigenous capital
As impact investors in New Mexico work to provide capital that supports the needs of Indigenous communities, there is increased attention to ensuring those investments are additive rather than extractive. This session will challenge the audience to re-imagine partnership and collaboration in impact investing, exploring at a tactical level the deal terms and diligence processes that support that effort.

2:40–3:40 PM, SEssion 5: CASE STUDY – HOW NMIIC IS WORKING TO CHANGE THE FLOW OF CAPITAL THROUGH COLLABORATION | Loe marcoline, adam rubel
In this session, long-standing members of NMIIC, Anchorum’s Loe Marcoline and the HAI Fund’s Adam Rubel, will reflect on NMIIC’s evolution and its collaborative decision-making processes. Adam and Loe will lead attendees through a case study of how NMIIC is developing a working capital pool to finance gaps for nonprofits navigating challenges resulting from delayed government reimbursements at the local level and challenges accessing programs at the Federal level. The session will invite attendees to share experiences and ideas for strengthening collaboration and access to capital for nonprofits, as NMIIC looks ahead to creating a more inclusive and resilient capital ecosystem.
3:40-4:15PM, SESSION 6: LOOKING BACK, MOVING FORWARD – A DECADE OF IMPACT AND THE ROAD AHEAD | Jerry jones, anchorum health foundation
Over the past decade, NMIIC has become a key convener and catalyst for innovative solutions to address the capital needs of New Mexican communities. Anchorum Health Foundation’s CEO & President, Jerry Jones, reflects on NMIIC’s decade of transformative work and discusses the role of collaboration in Anchorum’s journey toward fostering health equity throughout the State. Jerry will explore the Foundation’s focus on social determinants of health and its vision for enhancing community well-being amid the shifting landscape, including anticipated changes under a new administration. We hope attendees will end the day inspired to join these efforts that are driving systemic change to create a more equitable New Mexico.
