NMIIC’s Virtual Learning session
NMIIC hosted a virtual webinar in an exploration of how to cultivate a transparent and equitable food system for New Mexico that prioritizes sustainability, economic mobility and access for all. Guest speakers discussed what an equitable food system is, how impact investing can help to accelerate its development and examples of promising local opportunities and success stories from other regions. The session also discussed how impact investing can complement grantmaking and public funding to address the capital gap in the ecosystem in creating a sustainable and inclusive economy.
